This was a great experience! I was a bit hesitant at first as I was concerned about being in a capsule. The therapist could not have been nicer. She explained the process so I knew what to expect and made sure I was comfortable! The capsule actually enabled two of us to fit comfortably! We had pillows and were able to sit up or lay down. We were able to communicate with the therapist and she checked in us. There were windows too and we were able to vary the amount of light inside the capsule. I came out very relaxed! The environment was clean and they have a great staff! I would recommend giving it a try!

I had exacerbated an injury while at work and was forced to limp for several days. A friend recommended me to Delaware Hyperbarics to see if it could help with recovery, so I decided to give it a try. In addition to a very clean and vibrant atmosphere, along with a friendly staff, I was extremely pleased with my experience. I woke up the next day almost fully recovered and had the best sleep of my life. Highly recommended!

Step 1: Getting Ready – You’ll be guided into a comfortable hyperbaric chamber, where you can lie back, relax, and breathe pure oxygen.
Step 2: Pressurization – The chamber slowly increases in pressure (similar to flying in a plane). You may feel a slight pressure in your ears, which can be relieved by swallowing or yawning.
Step 3: Treatment Time – Sessions last 60-90 minutes, during which you can listen to music, meditate, nap, watch tv or simply relax.
Step 4: Decompression – The chamber pressure slowly returns to normal, and you’ll be ready to continue your day.
